The first steps when a pipe bursts or water is running in a Las Vegas home, before the plumber arrives.
Shut the main, then if it is safe kill power to an electric water heater at the breaker and move what you can lift out of the water. Photograph everything before it is moved, because your insurer will want to see it.
Leave the property and call Southwest Gas first. That is an evacuation, not a plumbing call, and it comes before anything else.
