Why does my drain keep clogging?

Cabling it a third time without looking is the wrong answer.
What is the difference between cabling and hydro jetting?
A cable punches through the blockage and gets the water moving again, which is the right call for a one-off stoppage. Hydro jetting scours the pipe wall itself with high pressure water, stripping the grease and scale a cable leaves behind. If a drain has clogged more than once, the cable is treating the symptom and the jetter is treating the cause.
Why do older Las Vegas homes get repeat drain problems?
A lot of the valley's older housing still has cast iron drain lines, and cast iron scales inward over decades until the working diameter is a fraction of what the pipe nominally is. There is no amount of cabling that restores that. A camera tells you whether you are looking at scale, a bellied section or roots, and only then is it worth deciding how to put the run right.
What if my drain line has no cleanout?
Then fitting one is usually the first job. A cleanout is the capped access point that lets a drain line be reached and cleared properly, and a property without one has to be worked through a roof vent or a pulled fixture, which is slower and harder on the plumbing. Installing one is a one-off that makes every future visit quicker.
