Where Is My Sewer Cleanout?

How to find your sewer cleanout in a Las Vegas home, and why it matters when a main line backs up.

Where to look

In the valley the cleanout is usually a white or black capped pipe sticking a few inches out of the ground between the house and the street, often near the front or side of the property. Some older homes have it just outside a bathroom wall.

If you cannot find one

Not every older valley property has an accessible cleanout. If yours does not, installing one is often the first part of a drain or sewer job, because it makes every future service faster and cheaper.
